Tradition lives on through Poterie d’Évires, as each collection is informed by the rich heritage of its home, Haute-Savoie. The studio refuses to stand still, so the design language is always fresh and new. But while this aspect evolves, the making formula stays the same: the clay is prepared, turned, decorated, fired, manipulated and glazed, using a wood-burning kiln of five cubic meters' capacity and the art of the hand touch. The results—which are only available at ABASK—vary from simple to elaborate, straight to rounded, and are influenced by the landscape, palette, flora and fauna of Haute-Savoie.
